I’m taking my mostly car-agnostic wife to the LA auto show and Radwood this weekend. Her Infiniti Q50 lease is up next year and she wants something with more personality that she would love “the way I love my S2000.” “It’s not love,” I replied, “it’s just indulging in a weird automotive fetish.”

And what’s wrong with loving an S2000? Easily one of the best cars around, although I’m more than a little biased towards roadsters and Hondas.

The G70 might be a good call from Hyundai. The Stinger just wasn’t nice *enough*. Any GS models are good also.

As with significant others ... I don’t know what her idea of “personality” means at all. All I can do is show her the options and hope she doesn’t set her mind on anything with bankruptcy/divorce potential.
